The most common form of skin cancer is basal cell carcinoma, which affects 1 million Americans each year. The most serious form of skin cancer is melanoma. When it is detected early, it can be successfully treated with surgery. Mary C. Martini, MD will discuss these and other common skin cancers including their signs, symptoms and treatment options.
