Biographical Sketch:

Elizabeth is an advanced practice nurse for the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute of Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She brings five years of nursing experience in cardiac surgery and cardiac transplantation intensive care units.

Elizabeth completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006 at Indiana University Northwest. After graduation, her nursing career started at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in the Cardiac Transplant Intensive Care Unit. She later returned to school to complete a Master of Science at Purdue University Calumet as a family nurse practitioner, certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Upon completion of school, she transitioned into a new role as an advanced practice nurse specializing in cardiology. She collaborates with cardiologist and nursing staff to establish plan of care for inpatients.
