Biographical Sketch: 

A registered nurse since 1992, Marvin joined the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute of Northwestern Memorial Hospital in 2010 to work in Cardiac Electrophysiology. His main responsibilities include working with patients experiencing cardiac rhythm disturbances. He finds this specialized area challenging yet satisfying. He strives to provide comprehensive care and health education to his patients and their relatives.

After graduating from nursing school in the Philippines, Marvin worked as an RN in many clinical settings including emergency, medical-surgical and outpatient primary care. Following his move to the United States, he held a variety of positions in Illinois including assistant director of Nursing of an intermediate care nursing facility, a telemetry nurse at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center and an adult critical care nurse at Rush University Medical Center.
