Physicians at Northwestern Memorial provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for all types of cancer and benign hematogical disorders. Our affiliation with the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University (one of only two National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive centers in Illinois) ensures patients and their families have access to the very latest diagnostic and treatment advances. Together, Northwestern Memorial and the Lurie Cancer Center are able to provide state-of-the-art care for patients diagnosed with cancer.

In addition, Prentice Women’s Hospital houses the Lynn Sage Comprehensive Breast Center, the largest facility of its kind in the Midwest, and an expanded radiation oncology area. In 2009, U.S. News & World Report ranked Northwestern Memorial’s cancer program 31st in the nation.
