Intensive Outpatient Program

Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Northwestern University are affiliated with an Intensive Outpatient Eating Disorders Program, called Insight into Eating. They offer a higher level of treatment for adolescents and adults with more serious eating disorders:

• Meetings 3 times a week for 6 weeks
• Supervised meals and nutrition therapy
• Group psychotherapy
• Experiential therapy—art, relation, psychodrama and more
• Medication management as needed
