Biographical Sketch:
Amanda is an advanced practice nurse in cardiac surgery for Northwestern’s Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute. She brings seven years nursing experience in cardiology and intensive care to the team. Prior to transitioning into the APN role with cardiac surgery, Amanda served as a clinical coordinator in the coronary care unit (CCU) at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Currently, Amanda is responsible for the management of inpatient cardiac surgery patients. She works in collaboration with cardiac surgeons and other multidisciplinary team members to care for this patient population.
