Biographical Sketch:
Lisa has been nursing within the Northwestern Memorial medical system for 10 years. She worked as staff educator for her inpatient medical/surgical unit implementing educational initiatives for the Department of Medicine while completing her Bachelor’s degree. She also worked as a staff nurse for the Department of Interventional Radiology, caring for patients undergoing such vascular interventions as angioplasty, artery stenting, dialysis graft placement, and embolization procedures for cancer, vascular malformations, and uterine fibroids.
Lisa now works for the Program for Limb Preservation and the Vein Center. In these clinics, Lisa is responsible for coordination of clinical operations, patient and provider education, community outreach and outcomes analysis.
