Deep Brain Stimulation & Speech (DBS):

The  Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and Speech study is for people who are scheduled to undergo electrode implantation for subthalamic nucleus deep brain stimulation (STN DBS) or who have already undergone the procedure, and the impact of this procedure on speech and swallowing. Participation will involve 2 to 4 visits that will last approximately 2 to 3 hours in length.
