Mini-Med School: Heart
In February 2007, Mini-Med School focused on The Heart. The lectures were taught by Northwestern medical experts in the cardiology field and provide information on subjects studied by medical students. Participants did not need a science background to attend, just a curiosity about medicine and the desire to learn about the latest medical treatments.
DVDs of all four cancer Mini-Med School lectures are available for viewing in the Health Learning Center.
Lecture Series Topics:
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Risk Reduction
- Valve Disease and Atrial Fibrillation
- Coronary Artery Disease and Heart Failure
