Within the Infectious Disease Center, the HIV program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital has led the way in treating patients infected with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) since 1988.
Services at the HIV Center include:

- When patients with HIV infection require inpatient hospitalization at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, we follow their care with an interdisciplinary HIV team to insure continuity of care.
Specialty Clinics
We have specialty clinics to treat HIV infected patients who have additional needs:

Co-Infection Clinic
Provide consultation and evaluation for HIV patients seeking organ transplantation. -
HIV/Hemophilia Clinic
Provides hematology consultation to patients with HIV and hemophilia. -
Womens Clinic
Provides obstetric and gynecologic care for women with HIV infection.
