Clinical Social Workers in the Infectious Disease Center at Northwestern Memorial Hospital are trained to help you and those close to you cope with the stresses caused by living with a chronic illness.

As part of your health care team, the social worker can help you maximize the resources available to you within Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the community.

Our focus is to help you become a consumer of health care services through a partnership with your medical team. This will enable you to make informed decisions regarding your health care.
