Graduate Medical Education & Training
As Northwestern Memorial attains increasing recognition as one of the nation’s finest academic medical centers, education and training play an integral role in the hospital’s achievements and in its contributions to healthcare as a whole. As the primary teaching hospital for Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern Memorial is committed to the training of tomorrow’s medical leaders through residency and fellowship programs. Together, Northwestern Memorial and the Feinberg School provide exceptional education and training to students and physicians on the medical staff in areas such as mimimally invasive, or laparoscopic, surgery and robotic surgery.
Members of the medical staff are dedicated to teaching the next generation of physicians and their many contributions of knowledge, time and enthusiasm help make Northwestern Memorial an outstanding teaching hospital. With world-class physicians and researchers guiding them, residents and fellows develop a solid foundation in clinical work and research.
