Biography
Dr. Bendok is recognized nationally and internationally for treating highly complex neurovascular diseases and tumors by utilizing modern microsurgical and interventional techniques.
Dr. Bendok believes in thoughtfully incorporating innovative technologies and innovative approaches to enhance patient outcomes and quality of life. Dr. Bendok believes in individualized and personalized care where all options are carefully considered and patient wishes are respected.
Dr Bendok's research focuses on cutting edge clinical trials and improving patient outcomes and safety through innovative surgical and interventional techniques. Dr. Bendok has authored over 200 scientific papers and book chapters, has presented over 300 papers and lectures at major meetings and symposia, and has co-directed several symposia at Northwestern. Dr Bendok is the recipeint of numerous distinctions and awards for his reserach and excellence in patient care including Alpha Omega Alpha membership and the Patient's Choice Award.
