Biography

Dr. Emily Berry received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her medical degree from the Oregon Health and Science University. She then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison followed by a Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at Northwestern University, completed in 2008. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the subspecialty of Gynecologic Oncology.

Prior to joining Northwestern, Dr. Berry has served as an assistant professor at the Oregon Health Sciences University in her home state of Oregon. Dr. Berry is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and an active member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) and the Gynecologic Oncology Group. At a national level she has served as the Chair of the Fellows Task Force of the SGO.

Dr. Berry offers women with gynecologic cancers a comprehensive approach to their care including radical surgery, minimally invasive and robotic procedures, chemotherapy treatment including participation in clinical trials, and aspects of supportive care that cancer patients may require. Her areas of clinical interest include minimally invasive surgery, intraperitoneal chemotherapy for ovarian cancer, and gestational trophoblastic disease.
