Dr. Chiampas is an attending physician at Northwestern Memorial Hospital as well as an adjunct professor in Emergency Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Chiampas is a consulting physician for the United States Soccer National team as well as local universities and high school teams. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Cook County Hospital where he was awarded the Trauma Resident of the Class of 2003. He went on to work at Rush University as an Emergency Medicine Attending. He completed his Internship at Illinois Masonic Medical Center and Doctor of Osteopathy from

Midwestern University. He received his Bachelors of Science from Loyola University.

Since completing his training, Dr. Chiampas has been actively involved as an instructor for Emergency Medicine Residents and Sports Medicine Fellows. He is team physician for Loyola Academy and North Park University and has traveled to Holland and Argentina with US Soccer for international tournaments. He also served as a consulting physician for the Chicago Marathon since 2000. In February 2007, Dr. Chiampas was named Medical Director of the LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon.

Dr. Chiampas has published book chapters in Emergency Procedure Texts and has presented as an invited speaker at national Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine Conferences. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and American College of Sports Medicine.
