Biography

Dr. Cobia is a clinical neuropsychologist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and an Instructor in the department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

Dr. Cobia’s interests are in the utilization of neuro-imaging techniques to study the relationships between cognition and brain structures, particularly in schizophrenia and primary progressive aphasia.

He is an active member of the International Neuropsychological Society and the Organization for Human Brain Mapping.

Dr. Cobia has published various articles in Archives of Neurology, Schizophrenia Research, Neurology, The Journal of Neuroscience and Neuroimaging.

His practice philosophy is “I believe the key to effective patient care involves the integration of both objective and subjective information in a comprehensive evaluation from an empathetic perspective.”
