After completing his urology training and a National Kidney Foundation Research Fellowship, Dr. Dalton joined the department in 1989.  His current practice encompasses robotic and minimally invasive surgeries for the management of prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer.   Starting in 2006, he was one of the first surgeons in the Midwest to perform robotic partial nephrectomies.  Dr. Dalton also provides general urology care including managment of urinary tract stones, prostate enlargement, and infections.  Dr. Dalton's practice setting in Arkes Pavilion continues the tradition of a private practice that has been in existence since the 1920's striving to provide personalized, individualized care.  A recipient of teaching awards he is also intimately involved in the education of urology residents and medical students.
