Biography
Dr. Elrashidy received a Bachelor of Science degree with high distinction from the University of Michigan. She then graduated with high distinction and as one of the top students in her class at Wayne State University School of Medicine, where she served as president of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
She completed her transitional year internship at Evanston Hospital, and her Dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital. Dr. Elrashidy was selected to be chief resident during her last year of residency. Throughout medical school and residency, she presented at various local and national meetings.
Dr. Elrashidy enjoys caring for patients of all ages with a variety of medical, surgical, and cosmetic concerns. She believes in developing long-term relationships with her patients based on trust, compassionate care, and interactive discussion.
Specific interests include: acne and rosacea, psoriasis and other inflammatory skin disorders, autoimmune disorders, skin of color, skin cancer prevention, detection, and cosmetic dermatology.
She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Chicago Dermatological Society.
