Dr. Jacqueline Gollan is a Clinical Psychologist and Co-Director of the Women’s Behavioral Health Program and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Gollan is Director of the Translational Stress and Depression Laboratory (SADLAB), which is an affective science laboratory that aims to identify differences in the substrates of mood disorders, to identify biomarkers that serve as prognostic indicators of successful treatment for mood disorders, and developing cost effective versions of Behavioral Activation for depression.

She is an active member of Society for Psychophysiological Research, American Psychological Association.

Her bibliography includes over 25 peer-reviewed articles, numerous book chapters, and a book in family forensics. She has been awarded funding from numerous foundations and from National Institutes of Health to conduct clinical research on substrates of emotion in depression and anxiety, to identify predictors of postpartum depression, to identify prognostic indicators of positive treatment response.

Her practice philosophy is “To provide responsive behavioral health care using a personalized, evidence-based approach for mood and anxiety conditions. Primary approaches include cognitive and behavioral treatment. ”
