Biography
Dr. Gonzalez is a native of Toledo, Ohio. He earned bachelor's degree from Denison University in Granville, Ohio in 1989, and went on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Gonzalez then completed both his general surgery and urology residency training at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago.
Dr. Gonzalez obtained his MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Dr. Gonzalez' clinical interests include male urethral reconstructive surgery, male incontinence, urinary tract reconstruction, and prostate cancer. His research interests include outcomes following urethral reconstructive surgery, health care economics, prostate cancer screening, information technology and electronic medical record development.
Dr. Gonzalez also has an interest in international medicine and coordinates a yearly international surgical relief mission comprised of Northwestern University urologists.
