Biography
Dr. Holly is the medical director of the Nuclear Cardiology section at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Holly is especially interested in coronary artery disease, ischemic heart disease, pre-operative evaluation, as well as nuclear cardiology and cardiac imaging. He is a member of the Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation and an associate professor at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.
In addition, Dr. Holly studies new pharmacologic stress agents, the assessment of myocardial perfusion and viability by MRI, and various aspects of myocardial perfusion imaging. He currently is a co-investigator on a grant from the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute to study surgical treatment for ischemic heart failure and two grants from industry to study elements of myocardial perfusion imaging.
Dr. Holly graduated from the State University of New York at Syracuse Medical School in 1989, and went on to completed his internship, residency and fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology.
