Biography
CAROLYN I. JACOB, M.D., Medical Director of Chicago Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology, is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and a Harvard-Trained Cosmetic and Laser Surgeon.
At Chicago Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology, she provides comprehensive adult and pediatric dermatology, cosmetic procedures including liposuction, Botulinum Toxin, Fillers, and laser surgery.
Dr. Jacob graduated from Indiana University and earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She was Chief Resident of Dermatology at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics and was one of two physicians selected from across the country for a Cosmetic and Laser Surgery Fellowship at Harvard University, completed in 2000.
Her research activities include the investigation and outcomes of various lasers, botulinum toxin and products for skin rejuvenation. She has published over 25 articles and 12 book chapters on dermatology and cosmetic surgery. She is a well known authority on medical skin treatments and speaks in both professional meetings and with the general public media.
