Biography
Muriel Jean-Jacques, MD, MAPP received her MD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Primary Care Internal Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She completed a fellowship in general internal medicine and health services research at the University of Chicago and received a Master of Arts in Public Policy from the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy. Her research focuses on quality improvement and health disparities in ambulatory care. Her current research examines provider and patient-directed strategies to eliminate disparities in preventive and chronic disease care through the use of health information technology and system redesign in safety net and non-safety net primary care settings.
