Biography
Barbara Jung, MD Is a Gastroenterologist at Northwestern Memorial and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine.
Dr. Jung's clinical expertise includes management of patients at increased risk for colorectal cancer as the leader of a multi-disciplinary clinic tailored to the individuals needs for surgical, genetic counseling, nutrition, endoscopic, imaging, or psychological support.
She runs an independent laboratory deciphering mechanisms of colorectal cancer, specifically metastatic disease and is nationally recognized for her contributions.
Dr. Jung is an active member of the GI community, the Feinberg School of Medicine and the American Gastroenterological Association, for which she has served on the Ethics as well as the Women's Committee.
