Kimberly Kenton MD, MS, FACOG, FACS is the Director of the Integrated Pelvic Health Program.  She is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Urology and Chief of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.  She is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and completed an accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center.  After completing her fellowship, she joined faculty at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery and Residency Director of Obstetrics & Gynecology prior to joining Northwestern Medicine. 

Dr. Kenton earned national and international recognition for treatment of women with complex pelvic floor disorders and minimally invasive surgical techniques with laparoscopy and robotics.  Her clinical interests include treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, fecal incontinence, complex urinary and rectal fistulas, mesh complications and congenital anomalies.  She posses substantial expertise in clinical outcomes research, earning a Master of Science in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis at the Universtiy of Michigan.  She served as primary investigator on several studies funded by the National Institue of Health, which lead to advances in surgical treatment and outcomes for women with urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.  Dr. Kenton has authored or co-authored 150 scientific papers and currently serves on the editorial boards of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the Journal of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Kenton is a nationally recognized leader in surgical education, developing innovative surgery and research educational curricula, and serving as a member of the ACGME Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Review Committee.  She is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology Division of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery and holds leadership positions in several other national surgical organizations.
