Dr. Lindquist is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She is a graduate of the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship training in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at Northwestern University. She also completed her Masters in Public Health and Masters in Business Administration from Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University.

Dr. Lindquist has performed multiple research studies with a focus on examining the impact of health literacy on the safety and well-being of seniors as they transition from acute hospitalizations (discharge processes). She is federally funded by the National Institute on Aging and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).

Dr. Lindquist has been published in many diverse journals both in the medical and non-medical realms. Most notably, Dr. Lindquist has been sought as an expert for the New York Times, Harper's, Boston Globe, Wall Street Journal, and multiple other regional sources. Appearing on CNN, MSNBC, and national syndicated talk shows, she has been tapped by multiple news sources to cover current patient care issues as well as medical issues among political figures. She is listed in Marquis' Who's Who in America, Who's Who among Women, and recently has been selected for the First Edition of Who's Who of Emerging Leaders which features 25,000 men and women under the age of 40 who represent the best of a new generation of leaders worldwide.
