Dr. Mehlman is a cardiologist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and a member of the Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation.
An associate professor at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, Dr. Mehlman has a special interest and extended experience in valvular heart disease, general cardiology and prosthetic valve dysfunction.
Dr. Mehlman graduated from medical school at Johns Hopkins University in 1973, and went on to complete his residency in Baltimore, MD. He completed his fellowship at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Dr. Mehlman is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine.
Dr. Mehlman is consistently listed as one of Chicago's ""Top Doctors"" in Chicago magazine's annual ""Best Of"" physician issue.
