Biography
Dr. Meyerson comes to Northwestern Memorial Hospital from Tucson, Arizona where she was the Director of General Thoracic Surgery and Associate Program Director of the Thoracic Surgery Residency at the University of Arizona. She graduated from medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 1996. This was followed by a residency in General Surgery at the University of Chicago Hospitals. She then completed a residency in Thoracic Surgery at Duke University in 2006. Dr. Meyerson specializes in Thoracic Surgery including benign and malignant conditions of the lungs, esophagus, mediastinum, pleura and chest wall. Her research interests focus on resident and postgraduate education and the development and use of simulation.
