Biography
Daniel Wee M.D. is a fellowship trained specialist in the cornea and anterior segment. He is on staff at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital and on faculty in the department of ophthalmology.
Dr. Wee joins Dr. David J. Palmer's practice with an impressive educational background. He earned his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University while majoring in Biology. He then attended one of the top medical schools in the nation at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Wee returned to the Chicagoland area to do his internship at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL. He served as chief resident during his ophthalmology residency at the University of South Carolina. He was praised by his residency chairman, Dr. Richard Davis, as having the best hands of any ocular surgeon he had ever seen during his time as chairman. He served as Clinical Instructor to the residents during his cornea fellowship at the Tufts New England Eye Center and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston and now serves as Clinical Instructor of optics to the Northwestern Ophthalmology residents.
