Biography
Dr. Wu is a cardiologist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital with special interests in acute coronary syndromes and cardiac imaging.
A member of the Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation, Dr. Wu is also interested in cardiac stress testing, nuclear cardiology and cardiac MRI. Awarded the Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging Fellowship in 2000, Dr. Wu has extensive experience with cardiac imaging and diagnoses.
Dr. Wu is an assistant professor at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. He is also the recipient of research grants from the GlaxoSmithKline Research and Education Foundation for Cardiovascular Disease, as well as Northwestern Memorial Foundation's Eleanor Wood-Prince Initiative and Young Investigator Award. His research focuses on cardiac MRI in acute and chronic ischemic heart disease, valvular heart disease, ischemia evaluation, drug treatments and prevention.
Dr. Wu graduated from New Jersey Medical School in 1996. He then completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Northwestern Memorial. Dr. Wu is board certified in internal medicine, nuclear cardiology and cardiovascular disease.
