Biography
Charles Zugerman M.D. a practicing dermatologist and associate professor of dermatology at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago also serves as a longtime consultant to the Blistex Corporation of Oakbrook, Illinois, a manufacturer of acne and lip care products.
Dr. Zugerman has published numerous scientific articles and has lectured widely to professional and non-professional audiences. His special interests include malignant melanoma, contact dermatology and cosmetic dermatology among others.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as having memberships in the Noah Worcester Society (membership limited), The Chicago Medical Society, The Chicago Dermatological Society and The American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He is an attending physician in the Department of Dermatology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Zugerman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He went on to receive his medical degree from Temple University Medical School, Philadelphia and received his post-graduate training from George Washington University and Northwestern University.
