Overview
Northwestern Memorial's Norman and Ida Stone Institute of Psychiatry is a regional resource for mental healthcare. Patient care, teaching, clinical research and community service activities take place in a multidisciplinary system of integrated care.
Conditions treated include:
- Depression
- Schizophrenia
- Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD, ADHD)
- Anxiety Disorders
- Co-occurring Disorders (Mental Illness with Addiction Disorders)
Services include emergency and crisis intervention, psychopharmacology and inpatient and outpatient care for adults (18 to 55 years of age) and older adults (over 55 years of age) experiencing emotional problems, and severe mental illness. Adolescents (ages 13 to 22) may be treated at the Warren Wright Adolescent Center.
