Heart transplant volume

heart transplant involves surgically removing one person’s malfunctioning heart and replacing it with a heart from a deceased organ donor.

Studies suggest that when a hospital performs a high volume of heart transplants, the patient’s survival rate and the graft survival rate are higher.
