Weight loss surgery - revision surgeries

Sometimes patients who have had prior gastric restrictive procedures (such as laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding) must have a second surgery to correct problems with the original surgery. This is called a revision of gastric restrictive procedures.

Patients may be interested in knowing which weight loss surgeries are performed the most frequently.

About this measure

This measure tracks the percent of revision of gastric restrictive procedures out of all types of weight loss surgeries the hospital performs.
