The Division of Nuclear Medicine provides therapeutic and diagnostic services using medical radioisotopes. Nuclear Medicine provides diagnostic procedures including DEXA Scan and Bone Scan for osteoporosis and PET Scan and Gallium Scan for cancer, bleeding, tumor and infection. Therapeutic procedures include treatment and palliation for cancer and thyroid conditions.

The Divisions of Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology maintain state-of-the art facilities as part of the Northwestern Memorial School of Nuclear Medicine Technology . Appointments and a physician's order are necessary for all procedures.
