The Thyroid Surgical Clinic strives to provide the most up-to-date, compassionate and comprehensive care for patients with thyroid and parathyroid diseases. Specialists within this clinic are specially-trained in the management of thyroid cancer, neck recurrence and associated complications.

In addition to the above services, our surgeons perform minimally invasive, endoscopic-assisted thyroid and parathyroid surgery for some patients.

Our surgeons, Jose C. Dutra, MD, Director of the Thyroid Surgical Clinic, and Harold J. Pelzer, DDS , MD, Chief of Head and Neck Surgery, also work together with other departments, such as endocrinology and nuclear medicine, to provide patients with team-oriented, comprehensive care.
