Entrance
The main entrance for the Galter Pavilion is in the arrival court between the Feinberg and Galter Pavilions. It can be accessed from either Erie or Huron Street. There are also entrances on St. Clair and Erie Streets.
Arrival Court
The covered arrival court for the hospital runs between the Feinberg and Galter Pavilions and can be reached from both Erie and Huron Streets. It is East of St. Clair and West of Fairbanks.
First Floor Lobby
Welcome to the first floor lobby in the Galter Pavilion, which can be reached from St. Clair and Erie Streets and from the passageway between Feinberg and Galter Pavilions.
Second Floor Lobby
When parking in the self park garage, you can enter Galter Pavilion via the bridge connecting the garage and Pavilion. For your convenience, we have ATMs on the second floor of the Galter Pavilion, near the bridge to the Arkes Pavilion.
Visitor Elevators
The visitor elevators are on the north side of the building. There are two sets of elevators - one that goes from the lower concourse (LC) to the 13th floor and one that goes from the LC to the 3rd floor and then from the 3rd floor directly to the 14th through 21st floors. Signs at the elevator entrances will guide you.
General Waiting Room
Many of the waiting areas in the Galter Pavilion are located near floor to ceiling windows with views of the city or lake.
The Pulse Gift Shop
Whether you’re shopping for someone else or looking for a little something for yourself, stop by The Pulse Gift Shop. Located on the first floor of the Galter Pavilion, Pulse offers unique gifts of all kinds. All proceeds benefit the Women’s Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Health Learning Center (Galter Pavilion)
The Health Learning Center, on the third floor of the Feinberg Pavilion, provides the most up-to-date health and wellness information to patients, the public and our own healthcare professionals.
Au Bon Pain - Galter Pavilion
For a quick coffee and pastry to go, visit the Au Bon Pain on the first floor of Galter Pavilion, near the Walgreens pharmacy.
Pharmacy
There is a Walgreens pharmacy located on the first floor of the Galter Pavilion for our patient’s and visitor’s convenience. Pick up prescriptions before you leave the hospital, or purchase a variety of over-the-counter products.
