The Arts Committee of Northwestern Memorial Foundation
The Arts Committee of Northwestern Memorial Foundation raises funds to support the Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Arts Program, established to build and maintain a healing environment for patients and their families, visitors and staff.
The Auxiliary Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital
The Auxiliary Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital is comprised of Chicago's young professionals and future community leaders. Currently, the Auxiliary Board is supporting the Prostate Cancer Gene Therapy Program at Northwestern Memorial. Funds are raised primarily through their annual Summer Lovin' benefit.
Chicago Baseball Cancer Charities (CBCC)
Chicago Baseball Cancer Charities (CBCC), comprised of former and current professional athletes, members of the Chicago sports media and the corporate community, has raised over $11 million for cancer patient care, education and research programs. Funds are raised primarily through their annual All-Star Invitational Golf Outing where each foursome plays with a local celebrity.
Friends of Prentice
Founded in 1986, Friends of Prentice has raised over $5 million to support Prentice Women's Hospital and Maternity Center of Northwestern and to improve the quality of healthcare for women. In October 2004, they named the Friends of Prentice Diagnostic Center in the new Prentice Women's Hospital, scheduled to open in 2007. Current initiatives support research in prenatal diagnosis, gynecologic oncology and the Friends of Prentice Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Funds are raised primarily through their annual gala.
HOPE (Help Optimism Perseverance Encouragement)
Founded in 1999, the HOPE board is exclusively committed to The Women's Program of the HIV Center at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The goal of the clinic is to provide exceptional and innovative medical care to women and infants affected with the HIV virus and to develop effective treatments for a growing number of patients.
Infants' Aid
Founded in 1914, Infants' Aid is dedicated to the care of prematurely born infants and infants with serious illnesses by financing equipment and supporting research efforts within the Renée Schine Crown Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Northwestern Memorial's Prentice Women's Hospital and Maternity Center. Their current initiative provides funding for research on the effects of persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn, led by Robin Steinhorn, M.D., professor of pediatrics at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and Chief of Neonatology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Lou Malnati's-Chicago Bears' Wives Cancer Benefit Committee
Lou Malnati's-Chicago Bears' Wives Cancer Benefit Committee supports cancer programs at Northwestern Memorial in partnership with Bears Care, a fund of The Robert R. McCormick Tribune Foundation. Their latest pledge to the Hospital supports Northwestern Memorial's neuro-oncology research program and nursing initiatives in oncology.
Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation
Dedicated to the courageous spirit of Lynn Sage, the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation (LSCRF) was established in 1985 by family and friends as a way to combat breast cancer. The foundation provides financial support for research, education and counseling programs relating to the treatment and prevention of breast cancer in partnership with Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Program at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. Since its inception, LSCRF has raised over $14 million.
The Service League of Northwestern Memorial Hospital
Founded in 1972, the Service League's board of directors and loyal members provide funds to support patient-focused projects, including the Patient/Family Assistance Fund, the Expressive Arts Therapy Program, the Stone Institute of Psychiatry Outpatient Housing Program, the Near North Health Service Corporation, the Layette Program, Emergency Room Assistance through Case Management and the Advancement of Nursing Education.
The Sunshine Board
Established in 1997 to honor Stephen B. Tips, The Sunshine Board increases awareness about organ and tissue donation and supports the research, diagnosis and treatment of Acute Liver Failure at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Founded in 1897 as Passavant Woman's Aid Society, the Woman's Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital continues its proud tradition of dedicated service and philanthropic support. In December 2004, the Woman's Board made a $2.5 million pledge over five years to Enhancing our lives: The Northwestern Memorial Campaign. This commitment will enable the Woman's Board to name The Woman's Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital Floor for Women's Care in the new Prentice Women's Hospital; to continue the Eleanor Wood-Prince Grant Initiative; to support designated Women's Health Programs; and to find select research or patient care initiatives each year.
