Recognition Societies

Northwestern Memorial Foundation's recognition societies provide our philanthropic partners with opportunities for involvement with Northwestern Memorial Hospital, its board members, physicians, executives and volunteers.

The Passavant Society
Established in 2003, The Passavant Society has been named in the tradition of Passavant Memorial Hospital, founded in 1865, in order to recognize the rich history of Northwestern Memorial. The Passavant Society recognizes individuals, corporations and foundations contributing $1 million or more through the course of their philanthropy to enhance the community of Northwestern Memorial Hospital. For more information about The Passavant Society, please contact Stephen C. Falk, President (312) 926-7066.

The Streeterville Society
Established in 1982, The Streeterville Society recognizes benefactors who give annual support for patient care, research, education and community services at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Individuals and family foundations contributing $1,000 or more and corporations and foundations that make contributions of $5,000 or more are eligible for membership. For more information about The Streeterville Society, please contact Cara Crosby, Philanthropy Associate, Annual Giving (312) 926-4275.
