Biographical sketch:
Annette has been a nurse for over 17 years and an advance practice nurse for ten years in both cardiology and cardiac surgery. Prior experience includes seven years of critical care nursing in the Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care Unit at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City and a three-year history at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago working in the specialty of cardiology.
Since July of 2005, Annette has been an advance practice nurse for the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute in the Cardiac Surgery Clinic. She works in the outpatient cardiac surgery clinic facilitating preoperative testing, educating patients before surgery, and seeing patients in clinic for post-operative follow-up.
Annette is board certified as an Adult (Primary Care) and Acute Care practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Annette is a member of American Association of Critical Care Nursing.
