Biographical Sketch:
Sue is an advanced practice nurse for the cardiac surgery team at the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute of Northwestern Memorial Hospital. With over twenty years of critical care nursing experience, Sue has worked in a variety of clinical and educational roles in critical care settings and emergency departments.
She is a certified Clinical Nurse Specialist (C-CNS) through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and a certified Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS) through the state of Illinois. As a clinical nurse specialist, she specializes in the acute care management of cardiac surgery patients.
Sue is also a long-standing member of Sigma Theta Tau, International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), and the Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nurses (ISAPN).
