American Cancer Society - Patient Navigation Service
The Patient Navigator Service is a partnership between Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Health Learning Center and the American Cancer Society. This service provides cancer patients and their families counseling as well as the best information and support available. Our health educators and licensed clinical social worker help you find information on specific types of cancer, including early detection, prevention, treatment, staging, clinical trials, new research advances, and medical references and resources. The service can also assist with transportation and lodging during all phases of your diagnosis and treatment.

Patients of Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University can visit a cancer health educator on the 21st floor of Galter Pavilion on the west side of the waiting area. Services are available by walk-up and appoinmtent Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
