Repetitive stress injury, or repetitive strain, is a group of conditions caused by performing the same action repeatedly, which places too much stress on a joint. One of the most common repetitive use injuries is carpal tunnel syndrome. In this Patient Power program, Charles Carroll, MD joins Andrew to discuss repetitive use syndrome. Dr. Carroll is an orthopedic surgeon on the medical staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and an associate professor of clinical orthopedic surgery at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University.
