Douglas Losordo, MD
Cardiologist
Recent studies have shown that our bodies all contain stem cells that
can help to repair damage after a heart attack. These naturally
occurring cells seem to be capable of building new blood vessels and
replacing damaged heart muscle. Douglas Losordo, MD joins Andrew to
discuss how to use stem cells in new ways to get people back to better
health. Dr. Losordo is the director of cardiovascular regenerative
medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and director of the Feinberg Cardiovascular Research Institute.
