Media Relations Department

Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Media Relations Department is a full-service public and media relations office dedicated to servicing the media by providing information on news being made at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and responding to media requests from local, regional and national outlets within their deadlines.

Members of the media should call the Media Relations Department when in need of any of the following requests:

  • Interview with an expert spokesperson for medical/health news
  • Request to videotape or shoot still photography within the hospital
  • Seeking information about a news release or event at the hospital
  • Obtaining reports on patient conditions

The Media Relations team is available weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Central Time and can be reached by calling (312) 926-7432

After hours, please call (312) 926-2000 and ask the operator to have the on-call media relations representative paged.
