Quality of life is important, but never more so than when you get older.
Northwestern Memorial Hospital's comprehensive geriatrics program is designed to help you deal with all the issues you or a loved one may face related to aging. Working closely with Northwestern University's Buehler Center on Aging, the hospital offers a full menu of coordinated evaluation and treatment services to address each person's unique medical, functional and emotional needs.
The geriatric team includes board-certified geriatricians who are internal medicine physicians with advanced training in the care of older adults, including those patients with osteoporosis, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. Our geriatric-trained physicians, along with specialized nurse clinicians and licensed clinical social workers -- are dedicated to helping people achieve the highest possible quality of life as they age.
