Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute is a world-class heart and vascular program that offers comprehensive services and treatments in all areas of cardiovascular care. The Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute is named in recognition of Neil G. Bluhm, whose generous financial contribution led to the creation and expansion of the heart and vascular programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Under the co-directorship of Robert O. Bonow, MD, chief of the Division of Cardiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Patrick M. McCarthy, MD, chief of the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute is comprised of six centers:

The Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute, located just two blocks from Chicago's Magnificent Mile, is committed to patient-focused care supported by the healing environments of the award winning Feinberg and Galter Pavilions. Completed in 1999, these world-class pavilions feature all private inpatient rooms.
