The inpatient rooms for the division of hematology/oncology are located on the 15th and 16th floors of Prentice Women’s Hospital. This state-of-the-art facility was developed with the patient in mind. Here, medical oncology and hematology inpatients receive the most advanced care from their physicians. Two inpatient floors devoted to cancer care have been created to support physicians and other caregivers as they work together to address the challenges and concerns cancer patients face.
In an effort to put patients first and provide the best possible care to them and their families and caregivers, Hematology/Oncology, along with Gynecologic Oncology and Surgical Oncology and the National Ovarian Cancer Early Detection Program (NOCEDP) have joined forces with the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
