The Division of Endocrinology provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of cancers and diseases of the pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands. Doctors specializing in endocrine tumors, endocrine disease genetics, polycystic ovary syndrome and gestational diabetes are on staff, and specialized services are available for diagnosis and treatment of diabetes.
The Endocrinology Division has a National Institutes of Health-supported training program and participates in several NIH-sponsored research trials, including the multicenter trial on prevention of diabetes and ongoing research into the management of gestational diabetes and polycystic ovary syndrome.
