In an effort to provide the best care to oncology patients and their families and caregivers, the sections of Surgical Oncology, Hematology/Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, and the Northwestern Ovarian Cancer Early Detection and Prevention Program have joined forces with the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. The Cancer Center provides a full range of oncology services and provides access to specialized research, clinical trials and diagnostic services. It is the only Comprehensive Cancer Center, as designated by the National Cancer Institute, in the state of Illinois.
